Rapid Office were appointed to specify, procure and deliver the full furniture spec throughout the HQ in Marlow. Across two buildings and 5 floors totalling 48000 sqft, the emphasise on the working environment was to provide an excellent variety of spaces including functional and focused working areas, exciting and fun breakout areas and formal and flexible meeting and training suites.
Moving the environment into the modern workspace we used intelligent furniture systems ensuring the client has great flexibility in working areas, allowing for easy changeover and flexible working and also enabling the most up to date technology to be integrated into the furniture to achieve a fantastic finish.
The project started in December 2019 and was a ten phase programme, working whilst the building was occupied we managed around the client time frames and providing minimal disruption to the working environment. Upon lockdown the client then pushed us to bring the phases forwards whilst the office was now unoccupied, aiming for a August 2020 completion, and I am very proud to say we achieved this to the clients delight, all whilst overcoming the new challenges presented when working during a global pandemic.
